Who is a Good Candidate for Breast Augmentation?

Women choose breast augmentation for a number of reasons. The most popular reasons women choose breast augmentation is to increase breast size, to achieve a symmetrical body silhouette and to add volume and firmness after weight loss, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Healthy women over the age of 18 years old may be good candidates, we recommend a consultation with Dr. Garcia to discuss your goals and to review of your medical history to ensure surgery is right for you.

Do You Provide Financing for Breast Augmentation?

Our practice now accepts the CareCredit health and beauty credit card. CareCredit provides Special Financing Options that can make it easier to fit a cosmetic procedure into your budget. More information can be provided to you at your consultation.

How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost?

Prices for breast augmentation vary. After your consultation with Dr. Garcia, a complete quote will be provided to you. This quote will not only include the cost of the implants and Dr. Garcia’s fee, but we will also provide you with the hospital and anesthesiologist’s fees.

What Are the Potential Side Effects of Breast Augmentation?

The most commonly reported side effects include capsular contracture, the development of a hematoma or seroma, changes in nipple and breast sensation, difficulties in breast feeding and delayed wound healing. More information can be provided during your consultation.

When Can I Return to Work After Surgery?

Depending on the type of work you do, some patients can return to work within a few days. Dr. Garcia recommends minimizing heavy lifting, running and jumping during the first 6 weeks after surgery.

What Can I Expect After Surgery?

The majority of patients have swelling and bruising immediately after surgery and for several weeks. Dr. Garcia recommends a front closure sports bra worn continuously in the first few weeks to reduce swelling and discomfort. With the advances in surgical techniques, shorter recovery times are now more commonplace.

What is the Difference Between Silicone Gel and Saline Implants?

Both implants have a silicone shell. The Natrelle® Round Gel implant is filled with a cohesive gel and is designed to create a soft, round look with a fuller upper-pole contour. The Gel implant is FDA approved for women at least 22 years old. The Natrelle® Saline implant is a round-shaped breast implant filled with saline that deliver your desired look with a small incision size. The Saline implant is FDA approved for women over the age of 18 years old.

What Kind of Implants do you Offer?

Dr. Garcia uses the Natrelle® Collection which offer a selection of both Silicone Gel and Saline Implants in a variety of breast width, projection, and volume options. This collection allows for a truly personalized breast augmentation that fits you and your goals.
